YCMC is not a concept project. It originates from six years of applied research, real-world operational testing and direct learning from live swap dynamics. It was built within the Italian circular fashion ecosystem and supported by Lazio Innova through pre-incubation, incubation, national and international acceleration paths.

The model has been tested through real transactions, generating concrete insight into end-user behaviour, logistics constraints and brand-side operational needs. This ground-level specificity is what differentiates YCMC from platforms built on market analysis alone.

The platform has attracted the interest of major Italian fashion players and leading technology partners, informing proprietary technology now registered and operational. This work has gained recognition, covered by major media, and a professional network spanning technology, institutional, sustainability and communication expertise.
